I’m a sucker for white sandy beaches and a clear turquoise sea(if you’re reading this article then I imagine you are too), City Beach nails it! It’s a popular spot for beach volleyball, surfing and other things that we will dive into in this article.

As you wander along the shoreline, the white sands invite you to kick off your shoes and bask in the warm sun. Stroll, breathe in the salty sea air and feel the soft sand beneath your feet.

There are two groynes which help prevent the beach from being eroded and make great lookout and fishing spots.

City Beach is not just a place for relaxation; it’s a playground for water sports and recreational activities. Here you will find a large grass area and great BBQ facilities overlooking the sea.

Clancy’s Fish Pub, where you can savour the day’s catch paired with a refreshing cold drink. The views and reviews here are amazing. It’s a great spot to watch the sunset(around 7:30 in summertime) whilst enjoying delicious food.

Whether you prefer oysters, fish and chips, or a seafood platter, these establishments offer a feast for the senses. They provide great food with a stunning coastal backdrop.

Odyssea

Odyssea is open every day from 11:30 am till late. Offering quality food that’s been locally sourced, the menu caters to diverse tastes, no matter the season. This place has amazing reviews as well as views, sit outside on the sea deck to enjoy the sunset.

Hamptons

Hamptons is a popular beachfront restaurant known for its delicious seafood dishes and relaxed atmosphere. Don’t miss out on their famous fish tacos!

They’re only open from Wednesday to Sunday.

When is the Best Time to Visit Perth City Beach?

The best time to visit is between November and April during the warmer months. Summer is from December to March where temps range from 30-40 Celcius. The months on either side will be mid-20s if you like it a bit cooler.

It’s best to visit the beaches in Perth during the morning to avoid the winds that can kick up in the afternoon.
